Banking Systems Vendor Council
  A Microsoft Corporation sponsored organisation designed to promote and develop Windows specific interface specifications for banking applications. The founding members of the Council are ICL, ISC-Bunker, NCR, Olivetti and Ramo. Both hardware and software manufacturers are represented on the Council. The specification of the standard is called the Wosa Extensions for Financial Services. This is an extension of the existing Windows Open Services Architecture, also simply called Wosa.
